Rami Lajin

Coach

Formerly an assistant coach for Lake Ridge Middle School, Mr. Lajin has extensive experience in mentoring students in robotics.

Cullen Lajin

Captain Driver Builder

Now entering tenth grade, Cullen captains White Lotus 3760X. His leadership style is collaborative, his standards are high, and his commitment to the team's success is unwavering.

Timothy Stepanus

Grade 11

Vice Captain Programmer Notebook

Timothy embarks on his fifth year of VEX V5 robotics competition and robotics as a whole. This year, he is enrolled in both the Governor's School @ Innovation Park and Forest Park High School, in which he led a robotics team in the latter. Timothy is a Lead for Forest Park's Programming Club and has come to be proficient in every field of robotics, being the main driver, builder, programmer, and/or notebooker for at least one year each.

Gaby Stepanus

Grade 9

Drive Team Builder

Gaby enters her sixth year in robotics. She began her robotics experience in fourth grade competing in VEXIQ for two years. She attended Lake Ridge Middle School and competed in VEXV5 for three years. In eighth grade she achieved her goal of leading her team to Worlds. Her knowledge also led two of her sister teams at Lake Ridge Middle School to Worlds to qualify, which is for the first time three teams from one school in the county qualified to Worlds. By the end of eighth grade, she gained popularity and many teams tried recruiting her; but she chose this team because she knew she wouldn't have to be solo again.

Maddox Cortez

Grade 9

Drive Team Builder

Maddox is a freshman entering his third year of VEX V5 robotics. He began his robotics experience participating in VEXIQ at Antietam Elementary School as a fifth grader. He joined VEX V5 robotics at Lake Ridge Middle School in seventh grade. He transferred to a private school as an 8th grader and robotics was not offered. Maddox's passion for robotics remained and he participated in practices at his previous middle school; helping any teams that needed assistance. He was welcomed with open arms; therefore, he started attending competitions and cheering on teams.

Ian Dakon

Grade 9

Scout Strategist Programmer

Ian joined the team for his first year of robotics; achieving a goal he has had since elementary school. He began homeschooling in 4th grade, which limited his abilities to join a team. Boy Scouts is a large part of who he is as well as sports; he currently plays volleyball.
